Diplomacy is a very important aspect of this game:

​

  • Once we have a treaty (allied or peace) with another coalition, you can not attack their cities, Emporia or sieges, as well as their capital and pantheons.

  • However farms (Bot cities -automatically generated by the game: their name will be a succession of numbers and letters) are free to raid as long as it stays reasonable.

What to do if an ally accidentally attacks your city/siege/emporia?

  • Do not retaliate

  • Send a polite message to this player to explain him his mistake, and remind him that you both allied.

  • If this player still continues to attack you despite your message, contact their diplomat and /or Hegemon

  • Contact your diplomat, explain what happened, he might details of the attacks - you can make screenshots of the reports, if it is easier

What to do if you accidentally attack the city/siege/emporia of an ally?

  • Send a message of apology to this player

  • Send back the resources if you took some from him 

Any Diplomatic issues speak to your diplomats

Note: if you retaliate an attack on an ally, this makes it much harder and longer to resolve the situation, and you are just making more work for the diplomats/ heg in both coa.
